Dreamboat

This afternoon I enjoyed a wonderful dinner with two of my close friends, Cade and Lainey. We went to a local pizza parlor and sat outside to listen to Cade's cousins band play. Seriously, they were amazing. The lead vocalist is like a mixture of Jillian Edwards and Regina Spektor. She actually just launched her bands EP. I'll post the link below so you can check it out. Anyways, Lainey was my photographer this evening and her pictures turned out to be stunning. What I wore tonight is literally perfect for anything. This is actually a piece that I bought yesterday and was dying to wear it, and thought that tonight was the best occasion for it! When I first saw this romper I was a tad nervous about trying it on, but when I had it on I fell in love. So a small tip, don't be afraid to try new things, because you really never know how they will actually turn out to look like. The detailing in the romper is bright cobalt blue flowers and tiny hummingbirds towards the bottom of the romper. The necklace I chose was basically an impulse buy from the boutique I work at. I fell in love with it when I realized there are 3 necklaces in 1. It was such a unique piece, I knew then it was a must have for my own. And finally, my shoes are sort of a Urban Outfitters vintage shoe. (Vintage, as in I have owned them for quite some time now). They are such a great pair of shoes, and work with anything! That's my look today, and a little update. There are some great things coming up, and I can't wait to share! Keep enjoying summer, and stay refreshed.

Girl in Pink

My aunt, mom, and I all went shopping today. Unfortunately, we were on a limited amount of time so I couldn't actually purchase anything. But I will say that my new obsession is Zara. I have always been a big fan of their clothes, but literally, I promise myself I will shop there a lot more. In my previous post i shared my shorts haul, and I must say that the shorts I wore today have been my favorite. Also, any of you who don't own a pair of Tory Burch flats, I highly recommend you investing in some. They are super comfortable, simple, and can be paired with just about anything. These were actually a gift from my lovely boyfriend. We just got in a few items at the boutique I work at, so I am looking forward to be bringing home a few goodies. In the mean time, enjoy you're summer, and stay fashionable.

Breakfast At The Bear

This morning I enjoyed a nice catch up with one of my dearest friends Lainey at a local bakery. It was fantastic and delicious! I'm not going to excuse myself from my plate, because this girl loves her food! My look isn't really shown here except for my top, but I wanted to share a little more besides my outfit. There are some pretty exciting things coming up soon that I wanted to share. My family and I will be heading out to Puerto Rico in a couple of weeks and I am beyond excited. I'm hoping for some great photo ops, and locations. Also I will be traveling to Florida for the same reason as well! Looking forward to both of those trips. By the way, grab yourself a nice bowl of fruit, trust me you won't regret it! YUM!

Oh my goodness, I can't explain my excitement for this look. I went shopping today and bought all these goodies. And surprisingly it all coordinates very nicely. The floral top is perfect for the summer, it's light weight and flowy so you don't get as hot. But I have to admit the shorts are my favorite. Not only are they high waisted shorts, but they're dip dyed (and with studs!). I also got my first pair of converse today. I wasn't too sure if I wanted a color to them yet and I personally think black is too harsh, so I got white. And I absolutely adore them! It could be a perfect beach trip outfit or even a day at the mall look!

Blue.

I have always been in love with this dress but never had the right moment to wear it, until today. The background isn't the best today, but it is what I had to work with. This dress is so simple and cute! I love the color and the color that goes along with it. It's a perfect high-low dress that can either be dressed up or dressed down, in my case. I thought these shoes paired nicely with the dress which allowed the texture to help the dress "pop". To top it all off I added a yellow envelope chained cross body to help bring out the colors of the shoes and to complement the dress itself. I also want to share my new obsession, my sunnies. They go with literally everything and are a must have! I am looking forward to updating this blog more then often, to show a daily outfit.

Work Work.

This outfit is by far the most comfortable look that I have worn to work. The tribal black and white jumper paired perfectly with the green beaded necklace. It was light weight and worked well together. I am also trying a new scent called Alien by Thierry Mugler, which smells amazing! I highly recommend trying it out.

Summer Ready.

I had so much fun with this look. It was easy and very laid back. With a classic black and yellow combination, I paired it with my favorite cheetah print sandals. The shorts had exquisite detail which allowed the look to "play" with texture. It's a perfect on-the-go outfit.
